Founded in 1968, the former Piarco Air Services Ltd. was established for the ground handling of Aircraft at Piarco International Airport. With the ground handling of Aircraft, the handling of freight became natural, so a cargo bond was opened in Port of Spain.
Eventually, the bond became too small and a new facility was opened in Nelson Street, Port of Spain. In 1979, we opened an office in Miami in partnership with Thriftcargo which opened the possibility of more air cargo and containerized cargo. This facility became too small and in 1980, we moved to our present location in El Socorro. In 2002 we opened our own office under the name of PAS Cargo USA, Inc. in Miami, from there we expanded through North America; New York, Los Angeles, and Toronto. We have also expanded our brand to other parts of the Caribbean; Barbados, Guyana, Jamaica, Suriname. We are the number one importer of LCL cargo originating out of the greater Miami area. Our rates and logistics management services offered are the leading reasons why are are the preferred freight handling provider in Trinidad & Tobago. Our off-dock bonded facility is 27,000 sq.ft. and our export facility is 10,000 sq. ft. which allows us to adequately serve all our customers. Since moving to El Socorro we have expanded our services to greater satisfy our customers in the industry.
In December 2020, we underwent a rebranding process to PAS Trinidad Ltd, still keeping the same familiar logo and improving on our already stellar service our customers have come to rely on us for. We have strategically positioned ourselves to be an integral part of the growth of Manufacturing & Distribution sectors of the economy of Trinidad & Tobago and we are on target to becoming the number one choice for customers by helping them manage their global cargo transportation needs by providing them with efficient air & ocean capabilities at affordable and reliable rates.
